ImageCLEF - Image Retrieval in CLEF

Due to various discussions about the publication policy in CLEF/ImageCLEF we are now trying to obtain an opinion from the participants.

The options are:

• to proceed as was done before, where each task has an overview paper where the organisers are authors, and each groups submits a number of paper describing their methods.
• to change the policy such that each task has one large overview paper, where the organisers and all participants are authors, which collects all information in one place. This was tested for the object recognition task of ImageCLEF 2007.
